About my work

From grocery store goods to the evening news, everything is presented to us in a bombastic manner. All these messages we receive through various media, inevitably shape our way of thinking.

The works from the exhibition "Tele..." represented a reaction to the most frequently used words from TV News. In the next phase, I "translated" these words - actions, along with the reactions they evoke, into symbols - punctuation marks.

There are also advertisements that constantly glorify attractive things, often of very questionable quality. While such a description fits many desirable phenomena in our consumer culture, I think the ideal symbols of this trend are cakes and strawberries, which are more beautiful than tasty.

In the next phase, the cakes and empty plates are transformed into symbols. A bird's-eye perspective places them in a position that allows us to see them as exclamation marks or periods - as warnings or simply as a reaction to the always "beautifully packaged" messages of the media.

The latest works rely more on intuition and feelings, although they still contain all the elements from before.
